According to the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Innovation, by the Commission on Higher Education at its meeting No. 6/2023 on June 20, 2023, it was resolved to approve the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation to conduct a competition for potential educational institutions with strong capabilities in innovation creation and roles in developing technology and promoting outstanding innovation that will be beneficial broadly. It was announced on March 5, 2024 that Srisakorn Rajamangala University of Technology received the Outstanding Award for its work on “Enhancing the Potential of Thai Pepper Entrepreneurs in Trang Cultivating High-Quality Pa Liang to Competition in Trang Province,” Section 3: Knowledge, Intellectual Property, Technology and Innovation, and Academic Services Development for Industrial and Service Sectors. The work was presented by Assoc. Prof. Prapasri Srichai, Director of the Research and Development Institute, and received an Honorable Mention for the project “Developing an Intellectual Property Management System of Srisakorn Rajamangala University of Technology to Benefit Innovative Entrepreneurs,” Section 1: Reforming Management Systems in Development and Technology Transfer of Educational Institutions, presented by Prof. Dr. Worapong Boonchuayen, Director of the Innovation Management and Technology Transfer Office, presented to the evaluating committee on January 19, 2024 at the Research and Development Institute, Srisakorn Rajamangala University of Technology Trang Campus, under the university’s policy to develop new missions to drive the university’s development strategy towards ethical practice.
