The Research and Development Institute of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya congratulates the researchers from Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya for winning awards at the APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGY event, emphasizing learning, growth, and sharing of community-oriented technologies for sustainable development. The award ceremony took place on June 17, 2567, at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Hotel.
Researchers from Sriwichai University participated and presented outcomes from the “Output Outcome and Impact Research Project” under the framework of “Appropriate Technology Research Expansion” in 2566. They set up an exhibition booth showcasing their work, which earned evaluations from the committee and qualified experts, resulting in awards for four projects and two Innovator awards:
Excellent Appropriate Technology Award:
- Project: Application of Appropriate Technology for Aquaculture Management and Processing for Farmers in Songkhla Province Project Leader: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kosin Tipraksa, Faculty of Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya
Very Good Appropriate Technology Award:
- Project: Innovation in Water Management for Rice Farmers and Shrimp Farmers in the Songkhla Lake Basin Project Leader: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natthapon Kaewthong, Faculty of Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya
Innovator Awards:
- Ms. Peenah Mad and Ms. Warandha Jemuzo from the Aquaculture Management and Processing for Farmers in Songkhla Province project
- Mr. Wiwat Tanhun and Ms. Dararat Sriaram from the Water Management Innovation for Rice Farmers and Shrimp Farmers in the Songkhla Lake Basin project
